What is sensory play? This is any play that uses your child’s sense of touch, smell, taste, sight and hearing. Sensory activities encourage children to explore in new ways. They often are presented in a way that encourage children to be active with their bodies and even get a little messy! Don’t freak out, I have many tips on how to help you feel more comfortable with the mess that sensory play can bring. Sensory play also encourages our littles to use scientific processes of investigation while they create and explore their activity!
